Attorney Anthony Alan Sheffy

Tony Sheffy is the firm’s founding partner. His practice is devoted to trial law, with a special emphasis on personal injury and insurance defense litigated in state and federal court. Mr. Sheffy handles cases that include wrongful death, auto accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, worker’s compensation, claims against drunk drivers, and cases against insurance companies for bad faith and uninsured motorist claims.

He is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College (B.S.,1985) and Western New England School of Law magna cum laude (J.D.,1988).

Mr. Sheffy is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Recently, Mr. Sheffy was inducted into the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). This is an elite trial lawyers organization comprising less than one-half of one percent of American attorneys. By invitation only, membership in LCA is highly selective, with its leadership citing superior ethical reputation as critical to consideration for membership. LCA also identifies effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation both at the trial and appellate levels.
